She debuted as a finalist in the 2004 ''All Japan High School Girl Uniform Collection System'' gravure contest, also known as ''Seikore'' (制コレ). Also in 2009, Itagaki starred in the erotic suspense V-Cinema release . In 2010, Itagaki retired from AV. Her final work, , was released by Soft On Demand on 4 March 2010. After her retirement, she worked in a cabaret club in Tokyo, and she appeared at several public events.
